Since the Information Superhighway provide endless entertainment opportunities, it is normal that kids are also drawn to it. However, the reported cases of child pornography and abuse through the Internet have intensified through time. Hence, if only it is possible for parents to prevent their children from surfing the Web, then a lot of child pornography incidents may have been prevented. Thus, the call for everybody to be cautious and to really teach children as early as they start tinkering the computer in knowing on-line dangers should be foremost.

Needless to say, it is imperative that you are with your kids when they are surfing the Web. If they are old enough to understand child pornography, then it is better to explain it to them early on. Also, make it a point that they spend limited time on the Web. If it is not that important, then do not let them use the computer at all.
